Final Goodbye. RIP Alexandra
So many things I wish I could have told you Alexandra. Today was a rollar coaster of emotion… treasuring our memories, & grieving over the thought that we can no longer share anymore. I wish I could thank you for everything you taught me, for beleiving in me when nobody else did. You gave me my first taste of mootherhood, with your profound love for Tristen. Taught me to be strong, even in the worst of situations.
I am going to miss that smile, your laugh, and of course the ‘really courtney’ look you gave me when I said something rediculous. Im going to miss the lake and fishtown and looking for engaggment rings. I’ll remember how hard it was to bit my tounge knowing he was going to ask for your hand, and just smiling when you asked about it. No doubt remember the look on your face when he did propose the night of the fireworks (and the sand in our snacks right after).
Im going to miss playing phone tag when we got busy with work, only to know we’d see eachother Thursday night for dancing. I always was envious of your dancing… and your hair. I’ll miss singing in your car on the way downtown, but I will not miss your mom van. lol
I’m going to miss you and Bill house sitting next to us and finally having neighbors our age that we could hang out with. Even if it was just chillen with tristen in the front of the house.
As a photographer, I am going to miss having you as a model. You are such a timeless beauty. I will miss capturing you with tristen. Your love for him just jumps out of every picture I took.
More then anything in the world, I am going to miss how much you cared about everyone around you. Something I hope to follow in my own life. Everytime we said goodbye whether in person or on phone, I was always reminded that you cared. I will always remember that. You were such an amazing friend to me.
You will be in my heart forever. RIP.

You are More Important Then This Number - I keep seeing statuses about diets and I just wanted to throw this in the mix after I came across it. Even I sometimes jump on the weight worry train, so this is a friendly reminder to all. Self Confidence comes from loving your imperfections.
